How long does it take to wear a hearing aid?

In view of this, American audiologists recently completed an experiment. In two places, they evaluated 43 hearing-impaired people with an average age of 68 years. All participants presented a mild to moderate symmetrical sensorineural hearing loss. The researchers also conducted a noise speech test and a hearing test on the participants to evaluate the entire process.
Through a variety of parameter comparisons, hearing-impaired patients can benefit immediately by wearing a hearing aid. For example, after wearing a hearing aid, the patient's hearing threshold (the lowest intensity level at which the hearing aid can be heard) is reduced, in a harmful signal-to-noise ratio environment. The listening performance is quite high and the perception of self-sounding is improved. Moreover, during the 30-day test, these benefits also showed a slight continuous improvement trend. During the test, the test subject wears the hearing aid on average for more than 10 hours.
In short, the results of the above studies show that as long as the hearing aid is used correctly, the patient can clearly feel the benefits of the hearing aid in the shortest month. Therefore, for every patient who wants to wear a hearing aid for a month, they can finally feel the effect and voluntarily use the hearing aid.
